Behavioral investigation
What is a behavioral investigation and who is it for?
A behavioral assessment is about trying to find the cause of a problem behavior and the solution to it. The purpose of the assessment is to ensure that both you and your dog have a functioning everyday life without a lot of unnecessary stress. During a behavioral assessment, I am always available for support and guidance via email and phone.
Dealing with a problem behavior requires a lot of time, training and patience, which is why MR.DOG offers two different packages for behavior assessments. These packages contain 3 sessions each so that we can follow up and adjust the training plan over time.
It is also possible to purchase individual events separately if you feel that a package would not be suitable.

In many cases, one or more veterinary visits may also be necessary in addition to the investigation, regardless of whether it concerns a specific or one-off event.
Below you can read more about our two packages "Behavioral assessment (physical meetings)" & "Behavioral assessment Online" as well as the price list for single sessions.

Booking:
Please fill in the booking form below as thoroughly as possible and submit it. I will get back to you within a few days to schedule our first session.
Session 1 – Interview (60 minutes)
The first session will mainly focus on allowing me to form a clear understanding of you, your dog, your daily life, and the behavioral issue. After this first session, I will create a training plan which you will receive via email.
You will also receive an exercise library including explanations and videos of the exercises included in the training plan. In the same email, I will attach the invoice for the full behavior assessment package (3 sessions of 1 hour each).
Session 2 – Follow-up + Training (60 minutes)
The second session begins with a catch-up where we discuss how things have been since our last meeting. We talk about how the exercises feel, whether you notice any changes in the behavioral issue we are working on, and similar topics. This is followed by a training session with my guidance.
In some cases, we will set up situations in a safe way to allow for effective training. After the session, I update the training plan and add new exercises to the exercise library.
Session 3 – Follow-up + Training (60 minutes)
The third session is very similar to the second. We start with a catch-up where we discuss how the exercises feel, how the training has gone since last time, and whether you see any changes in the behavioral issue we are working on. This is followed by a training session.
After our meeting, I update the training plan so that you have a clear overview of how to continue the training on your own going forward.
The behavior assessment must be completed within 6 months from the date of the first session. If this time frame is exceeded, it will no longer be possible to complete the assessment, and no refund will be issued.
All training takes place at an agreed location in or around Tomelilla, unless otherwise agreed.
For home visits, a travel fee of 500 SEK per hour applies.
